Interesting reading (short though). Did anybody here know David Steeves? I'll do more searching, but would be interesting to hear the whole story. Sadly, he past apperantly in the Boise, Idaho area demonstrating a new design for jumper planes (I think that the story).

That is a pretty tough place to try to survive in. Not neer as many backpackers in that area in those days.
