Reminds me of a time flying up the Koyukuk from Bettles 300 overcast and 2 miles vis met a Wien F-27 coming down the river trying to sneak into Bettles. Not sure that was a published approach

A friend and fellow pipeline pilot was occasionally willing to skip a portion of the line and do the over and under thing. I never did that. I just laid up and waited. From these videos, it seems Alaska might not be as friendly to my approach.

That's one of those nifty RNP approaches in New Zealand. Very cool.
Must be hairy looking at a mountain and descending into a cloud layer!
