Dead and feathered

Great POTW this week on AvWeb.com from Brian Kilby of Newnan, GA. Reminds me of something you'd see on Ice Pilots.

I have a few pictures like that, not fun when you're in the middle of the Atlantic.

You had it right, but you selected "Disable BBcode" for some reason. That definitely makes it not work... :)

Re: Dead and feathered

WW, is it possible to light the turbine on that side if you loose the radial, or are they limited to t/o use only? I remember 4254H had them installed, but don't remember if you could run them for extended in flight use.

Blessed are the curious, for they shall have great adventures!

Re: Dead and feathered

You can run them anytime you want, but they burn 500gph, so they're a little pricey and you might want to be looking for a gas station.
