Delta Junction

I looked in the Alaska Supplement but it does not list any place around delta junction to get fuel. Do I have any options for fuel around there?

Not that I'm aware of--certainly no public fuel vendor anyway.
Nearest to the east would be Tok, to the west and north FAI.

Oh no...we're not going to start this hauling fuel in the cans thread again are we? :D

Redline, I think there's at least one outfit that flies out of that strip, you might give them a call to see if you could buy some fuel from them. Other than what MTV said, I don't know of any other public fuel source

Kirk, I may be mistaken, but I only know of one commercial operator out of Delta, and they have their own private airstrip.

The last time I was in there which, admitedly has been awhile, there was an outfit in there that would fly people out to the bush for hiking...etc. Not sure if they're still there or not. I drove by there on the way to Caribou hunting and it looked like there might still be some sort of opperation there but couldn't say for sure.

And there isn't even a gas station right near by. Nearest one is about 1/2 mile from the airport. Hmmm...one of these dull winter evenings I may have to make a little wheeled gas can carrier that'll fit behind the seats in the old 150. :D
