DHC-2 Landing Crosswind Lake

We lost Craig, the pilot of this aircraft, in January to cancer. He was one hell of a pilot, and a good person. Very well known up here in the professional flying community of AK.

The winner is the person with the most stories when he dies, not the most gold.

Keep the Greasy side down!

Sorry about the loss of another Beaver pilot.

I couldn't help but notice the lack of trees. Makes landing close to shore easier.

Yeah it is pretty much tundra in that area. Even the Alders are stunted little bushes.
