Difference Between Highlander and Kitfox IV Gear Mounts

The guy I got my Kitfox IV from had put Grove aluminum spring on it for weight savings, but he also extended the wings and added VG's and a slot so that it can and does come in at some pretty steep AOA's. When the tailwheel hits, the mains can be a good six feet or more in the air if I'm not careful. Needless to say, I need some more forgiving gear, as there is only so much the bushwheels can absorb. I'm really interested in the Beringer "Alaskan Landing gear, but they don't have it listed for the Kitfox, and the closest model is the Highlander. Do any of you happen to have the measurements on the Highlander gear mounts? I suppose they could custom make on for the Kitfox, but I'm wondering if they aren't the same.

I know that the gear for the Kitfox IV is different from the 5, which is just different enough from the 7 to require different mounts.

The Beringer gear looks great but I got some sticker shock when I found out it was in the $6-7k range. For slightly less money you can buy the now popular Monster Shock gear (offered for the IV) but it is still in the $5k range.

I own the Grove gear and I can assure you it is not a weight savings. They might be the heaviest option available, but they do have significantly less drag than cabane style gear.
