Digital copies of required documents OK?

I'm trying to figure out a clean and efficient way of ensuring all necessary documents are on board.

Have any Canadian pilots ever pondered digital copies of CofR, CofA, Insurance, W&B or STCs related to the aircraft?

Foreflight on the Ipad negates the need to carry hard copies of certain documents, why not the ones I mention above?

Right now I have an envelope taped in the back of my journey log and it has CofR, CofA, Insurance and W&B but the STCs definitely won't fit.
