If you're not scarin' yourself, you're not scarin' the crowd!

Sounds great. Keep me in the loop. I've done poker runs on motorcycles, and in a plane would be way cool. 8)

Ditto with George, Dutch ovens at the ready. :D

See ya, Bub

Scouter, I would be up for it but what kind of landing spots are we looking at. I fly a 182 and I wouldn't be able to land on Super cub strips. How large of an area also, it sounds like fun and I probably would try to take part. Count me in. Bob

all intrested pilots

the format will be simple, weather depending. 850's will be allright. I had dinner with my good buddy joecub tonight. ( ITS REDS BIRTHDAY ) so you all wish her a happy 38th. we were thinking that the strips that we will use will all be about 3000 ft and fairly low diff. (ITS about the fun) for the more advance pilots we will have an 2 extra credit strips. it will be the best 5 card out of 7 cards. to make it fair for all (becaue in our world there are no losers) at the low diff strips, there will be ways to get an extra card or two. may be by short landings, or just because. I will post to all who want to come a L&L the day before. when you get to that spot, you will be able to get the next densination. we will all be using the same air channel (123.45) we call it fingers. I will also post flying times to all point for fuel conserns. if i am forgeting something dont be bashful. IM NOT

PS i Hope this turn out well, the funnest flyin ive been to was done by coyote ugly. And yes we will be having a 2 annual ribbon stomp, and a dostard doll tug. Dont miss it

So do we have to do a treasure hunt to find the next L&L, or do we have to win a hand to get it? Let's Pray April 20 is decent, I've had quite enough winter for one year!

Skylane, It really isn't all that hard to put a Lat-Long into your Gps. I don't know what kind you have but they are all about the same.
I was surprised by some of the guys in our Malheur Countr S&R crew. I found a downed aircraft, that had crashed and gave them the GPS L&L and they had me stay out over the site until almost 11:00 o'clock because they couldn't put my L& L into there GPS. We had a little training session later so that won't happen next time. I didn't mind the extra flying excet it was dark and no moon, and I wasn't to far from Cottonwood mountain 6700'. I am vfr only.

I'd vote for ending the day someplace that we could camp out.
