Re: Dolores - what is the strip like today?

Nice pictures. Glad to see there was a good turnout.

Was it just the fabric part of the windsock that missing, or did some remove the entire apparatus? I'm sure a few of us could assist with finding a replacement.

Hey Charlie -
Yes: I proposed to the lovely lady - Juliana - that was with me. She said yes luckily. I have a video of the whole thing almost done so I will post that here. Got your takeoff and also lowpass over Dolores in the vid.

That looks like Tom's colt in the last picture?

Cheers,

Stig

Just the socks were missing. It's been quite windy lately. They were looking a bit ragged the last time I was there.

That was indeed Tom's "super colt". You just missed him. We took off about 20 minutes before you got there. he headed back to Mack.
I was checking out some riding trails in the area when I heard you and the rest of the gang inbound so I came back to Dolores / Hubbard.

Yes there is "color in colorado". I somehow manage to get my phone in some weird artsy fartsy mode and didn't realize it until I downloaded the pics.

Good job mate, congrats. You snagged yourself a good woman there, she was fun to talk to around the fire at La Garita.
