Here wx couldn't be nicer. Did 4 landings in the grass SWEET!!! You should still walk it. At The Sportsman Pub for lunch. Then back to finish the shower. Camp fire and whiskey later. Image

Shower done. Sportsman is serving fresh razor clams tonight. I think I'll go. Going to mow the grass where we land a little bit more and make it even better.

8GCBC I'm up for lunch most any time.

Just spent 1.5 hr mowing. The grass landing area is REALLY nice for 8.50 or bigger. Walk it first.

Hi Rob,

I am working on getting current, not flown for about 3 months. My airplane started! Concord makes a great battery and Lycoming makes a great engine! Run up good...now I got to fly.

Need to do some touch and goes, stalls, slow flight ....

Lunch sounds good. Will contact...

Glad to see you are making good headway on the home! The coast Wx is fabulous now.

Re: Dory Days July 19-21 Pacific City, Oregon

This morning did a scud run out the canyon to Newberg and picked up a buddy. Came back over the top and did an IFR approach back in, pretty cool. Landed the grass and played chicken with a turkey vulcher. He almost became a cowl ornament.

Then coming back to Troutdale to get my wife I get a text from highroad, he ask if I just flew over Gladstone. It was me. I guess those 35s are a dead give away.

We are headed back down now. ETA 5pm

Ya, was sitting in the campground under a tree in the shade at our church camp meeting when I heard you.........."man, that sounds like a Maule" I'm thinking. Yep, red and white, and 35's........Got to be Rob! Sure enough, lol!

I'm headed to Johnson Creek for 2 nights then to Clear Creek. I'll be back to PC a week from today. There is a great fly in this Sunday at McKinnons. You should come up. Here are the details.
