Doughnuts in the snow

Tried searching all the forums as I was sure this would already have been posted, so apologies if it is a repeat. Snow seemed a little deep, even for ABW, but he kept it right side up. Anybody know who/where this is, though perhaps the anonymity was deliberate.

Re: Doughnuts in the snow

It was posted here, but apparently this "donuts in the snow" thing really resonates with the general public and that portion of the video went massively viral.

Re: Doughnuts in the snow

I wouldn't call it brass balls, rather pocket full of IDGAF bank notes at "my disposal", attitude. Reminds me back in grade school.

Tough crowd. That's Bobby Breeden. One of the best. Wish I was out there with him.

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

Just a little Sprint Car practice on the ice. Teaches you proper control of steering and throttle steering.

cool video, he obviously knows his machine and had great conditions to play in. reminds me of snowmobiling, when the snow was just right it made fun stuff like this almost effortless.

Nope, I've tried it, and all I could get the 150 to do was a gradual crabbing curve, although it would turn a little bit faster with the brakes locked and forward yoke.

Re: Doughnuts in the snow

With new light snow on top of slick surface underneath, you can spin 360s plus while going down the runway just like you can in a car. But the plane, with rudder and prop blast can stop the turn at any point of the turn and not make tracks wider than your plane length. Must have slick runway. I never tried it with anything but smooth tires.
