What about wing walk compound? No experience with it, but I think its just brushed on.

EZFlap,

Dogs are the most loyal friends. To prove it, put your dog and your wife in the trunk of a car for one hour.
When you open it, see who is truly happy to see you.

Re: Durable, lightweight cabin floor options?

I ordered the carpet for my C-150 pre-cut from Shelby Isham at http://www.tnwings.com/ .

It meets all the requirements for aircraft; looks good, is lightweight, easy to clean, and comes complete with the necessary fire-retardant paperwork to keep the FAA happy.

I'd stay away from any of that foam-back garbage. That was the stuff I replaced and over time it deteriorates, leaving a black powder residue that makes a mess.

Carpet may not look utilitarian but I find it more practical than a hard surface. When you and your pax get in the plane with wet or snow covered boots where do you suppose the water will go? Carpet will absorb the water and dry out before it has a chance to go anywhere. Also protects the soft aluminum floor from dings and scratches. Low pile commercial grade remnants are cheap and durable. Cut your pattern with shears and cauterize the edges. When it gets nasty throw it away and get another one.

Plywood is recomended by Cessna as "utility" flooring. A composite that is inexpensive, durable, and doesnt slide around and the plywood spreads out the forces. My aircraft floor substructure gets damadged just from peoples knees. Too many PSI with parachutes on. Cut slots for seat tracks and bolt heads , makes for a level surface, add non skid tape from the hardware store at requried locations.
