The local EAA is having a flyin at Animas Airpark, Aug. 28. The airpark is just a couple miles south of town. Usually has the lowest price for fuel in the area, and a full service shop if anyone has any issues to be dealt with.

They have put a lot of effort into making it a fun event for the whole family. They have some stuff listed on the flier, and are looking for more ideas to have more fun. The flyer says Sat., but you can figure if for Fri.-Sun. if ya like. There is camping on the field, a coutesy car,all kinds of thing to do in town.

Hope the weather is good, and ya can make it. They are encouraging prebuying the tickets so they can have a rough idea of how many to plan for, but no big deal, there will be plenty for everyone.

There's a slight chance I'll be able to go, but I'm pretty sure I have to work that weekend.

Just wanted to bring this back up incase someone wanted to have some fun this weekend and was looking for somethin to do.
I guess ticket sales had been pretty good. They will sell tickets on a will call if you are interested. I think they are limiting ticket sales to 250 tickets.
