Reasonably sound airframe (based on inspection covers) early 185 with original -470 engine, no mods, 55 gallon fuel, old radios, around 7,000TT - has not flown in ten years.
Without investing in cosmetics (paint and interior rate a generous 6/10) I would suggest it needs an engine overhaul, accessories overhaul (gen, magnetos, vacuum pump), propeller inspection, new tyres and junking the radios for a new COM and keeping the Mode C transponder - aircraft in Europe so no ADS-B on the horizon.
Down the line it might get new paint in original 1961 scheme.
What might a project like this be worth stateside? Owner has not shown interest at around $60k as is where is.

FWIW, I recently bought a P206 with similar specs. Has sat for 8 years. Didnt have an engine, but found a good one for it now. I paid $15000 Canadian for the airframe.
60k for the 185 in that condition? No way. But maybe I took my crazy pills again...
