My understanding when I talked with them about this very question is that it will only display on supported WAAS gps devices like the GRT Fly-Safe 2020, Garmin GTN series, Garmin 400W/500W series. Garmin 795/796/660 is a no go.

The EchoUAT will NOT play well with any Garmin equipment, including the 796. If you have a Garmin panel mount of portable you have to use a Garmin ADS-B in device. I have an Echo in my RV-3B that talks nicely to my iFly and FlyQ (and Foreflight) and I also have a GDL 50 onboard that talks to my aera 660 (same interface as the 796). Basically with the cost of the EchoUAT w/GPS kit being so cheap you can add a Garmin "in" and still be less than a SkyBeacon or GDL 82 or the like. So my smallest airplane with one seat has the capability to send ADS-B traffic and weather to any type of software or portable hardware from any manufacturer in existence. None of my certified a/c can do that. LOL
