ECI Cylinder AD

As I have just posted on 180/185 face book page "I have just found out my ECI cylinders are going to be consigned to the scrap heap in 200 hours with only 1100 hours TT. I wish I could find some one to build me a Cyclone so I don't have to put up with this crap."

Re: ECI Cylinder AD

Sorry to hear that Jamie! Not good!

I know another guy in NZ who was looking to get out of his 185 and into a Cyclone too. I think they are for sale from time to time, of course you have to import it from the USA / Canada.

Re: ECI Cylinder AD

Mine too Jamie, however mine will only fall 40hrs short of TBO which I'm required to do so not such a big deal to me. As far as I can deduce my engine has never had a cylinder off in 1600 hrs now this AD comes in my cylinders are immediately scrap!
I hear your frustration!
