I’m not able to find a good way to connect these two together - retract handle to tunnel. Need input from someone more experienced. Any help is helpful!
The a/c is a cessna a185f 1974.
Now I would like to combine factory installed cessna belly cargo pod with this Edo retract. Any suggestions?
And later put her on pk3500c.
Thanks!
Johan

I could be wrong but I believe it replaces your tail wheel locking lever.

I have this installed in my 1976. I’ll have a look at the install and see if I can get any helpful photos without having to remove the tunnel cover.
Do you also have the cover plate with two pulleys to go on the belly exterior?
Doubt this will be compatible with the belly pod. Perhaps you won’t need it if you have compartments in the floats?

Thanks a lot appreciate if you can.
Yes you are right it’s enough space in the floats.

I'm afraid you're right.
I’m not sure but I think I’ve seen the tail wheel lock assembly installed on the right hand side of the tunnel ones??

When you replace the tail wheel locking lever, put it in a safe deposit box or under your pillow. The price has approached absurdity now, nearly $1,000 for the lever. DO NOT LOOSE IT. The previous owner of my 185 misplaced mine.

I believe you. Today's prices have lost reality anchoring.

Getting back to this. Likely too late to help OP, but might help someone searching in the future.

When I have it apart for inspection next I’ll take another photo.
