Hey, was up to the cabin yesterday. I helped a bit building and had not been up there since it was finished. WOW This is a first class "Cabin".

Anyway helped Joe look for an area to build a strip. What we found it about 900 feet of 4% upslope that could be bladed out for a decent dirt strip. Would trim some trees on the approach end to help on final, and more importantly on departure. Cabin is right at the 5000 foot level. Strip would be about 1/8th of a mile away if built.

What do you guys or gals think. Would Joe be able to rent it out to pilots if he built a strip there?

When I get a chance I'll make a couple of passes to where the strip would be and take some pictures and post.

Tell them that if they build it, I, for one, will fly to it.
Would be nice to have a place a wee bit closer than Idaho.
Also it would be easier to fly to it than to drive to it.
