ELT'S

Now a 1st for me, My old EBC ELT BB6-302VR went off last night so probably need to replace it!!
Sitting on the ground at the airport.
So question to the ones who might know.
If I get one of the new Whizbang 406 ELT's, can I get extra mounts,(install and notate in each aircraft) and just move it from aircraft to aircraft?
Thanks in advance.

Re: ELT'S

Maybe..... The problem is, when you register the beacon, you register it to the AIRPLANE tail number, since it's an ELT not a PLB.

My advice, buy an ACK 406. They can be connected to a GPS..... And they are the cheapest 406 out there.
