I see a Navy theme going on in this club.

I'm jealous.

Emmet'
Only because I have a friend with a Stearman, I am about tied with you in Stearman time.
I'm curious if you were in the front or back seat? Mine is all in the front with about 4-5 landings. He tells me that we're ready to trade seats. We just haven't had time to go do it. He started me out in the front cause he's never flown it from there. His is really/equally light on the roll. It has 4 ailerons. Also has a 275 Jake. Flys like a big tractor.
I also have about the same amount of time in my hangar partners Christian Eagle also from the front seat, where he first learned. He says it's much easier to fly from the back, and I should hope so. Hoping to get some back seat Stearman time before the opportunity is gone so I can experience the easy seat.
And the RV-8, how cool is that. Too bad they perverted it with a nosewheel.
And the S-35, my favorite! I got full custody of another friends S-35 to do my CFI.
Lions & Tigers & Bears OH MY!
You are living the pilots perfect dream!
I just know your going to reveal soon that your club hires some NFL cheerleaders to come out every weekend to wash the fleet.
Living vicariously through your club membership.

Hey Tom,

I did fly from the front seat, and was told the same - next time its back. Yeah, the 4-aileron mod evidently really lightens the roll and picks up the roll rate. I am sure its got a lot more get up and go with that motor too.

Yeah, looking forward to getting time in the Bonanza too as I will likely use it a bit for work travel.

But my eyes are most squarely set on that sweet RV-4 :)
