I don't dare look at the link right now. I'm workin' on one of them tater bases on th' computer and gotta git 'er done today.

Wow! Great color pix from WWII! Thanks for posting the link. The pic of Doolittle addressing the US workers is interesting. I wonder what he actually had to say. I doubt it was "You didn't build that"

Thanks a lot for this. There is a pictures of Hellcats on the USS Cowpens. CVL-25 was my grandfather's carrier. He wasn't a flyer, but had some amazing stories. I cherish any picture I can find of that boat. Cool to see one I haven't seen before.
