Evergreen Aviation Museum

I'm planning on flying over to McMinnville on Thursday the 4th if the weather isn't too bad. Going to spend the whole day. If anybody wants, we can grab lunch or something. I can't wait to go through the Museum =P~

Wish I could join you. My favorite museum in Oregon is McMinnville, go there at least once a year......

It is impossible to get all of the Goose in one picture....:)

I have to get over there to see the Goose this summer, I have toured the old blimp hanger at Tillamook, that was pretty cool also.

Yea I was kinda thinking about hopping on over there, don't know if I'll make it though. They both sound really interesting.

The coolest thing about Tillamook is the hangars. The museum is so-so.

And the fact that you can taxi right up to the museum. That's pretty cool too. They have really tasty burgers (Tillamook cheese, natch) in the restaurant as well.

Re: Evergreen Aviation Museum

SBCP....All three of my brothers had gone to the Evergreen Museum. I missed going to see the "Goose" when it was at Long Beach. They told me what a site the flying boat was, and I thought that was all there was. When we were flying out west in '07 we did a road trip to McMinville...what a surprize! The Goose is amazing but there's a lot more to see as was the theater..you won't be disappointed! HC
