Extended baggage with ski tube for Cessnas. CG help?

This keeps popping up on social media and I started chatting with the guy. It’s a metal extended baggage kit for Cessnas. Which would be pretty nice over the flimsy Selkirk that has a only a 50 lb load limit. Plus, they have a ski tube option that can hold 40 lbs far aft. I was thinking this could be an interesting and legal way to dial in your CG rather than putting dive weights in your tail with velcro.. :shock:

I believe they just have the STC for the baggage shown but are working on the flat floor version this year.

Re: Extended baggage with ski tube for Cessnas. CG help?

I had this extended baggage and ski tube in my 55’ 180. AMF did the install for a good deal in exchange for using my airplane for his website photos of the installation. Pretty sure the lower left picture in the social media screenshot is my 180. This kit is hard to beat and is well thought out. I liked the ski tube for fly rods and such. Yes, the tube is a great way to manage cg.

AMF = Air Metal Fabricators?
I'm curious as to the dimensions (height, width, depth) of the ski tube, and also how it's supported.
Interesting that the prices for their flat floor material kit & 8110-3 paperwork add up to quite a bit more ($3K) than their STC'd kit ($2150).
