Their Extended baggage, it had a Piano hinge that ran down the middle, so you could easily access the Batt. and Elt on the other side..

On my last annual on my 1959 Cessna 182, my mechanic had to reskin my left upper flap skin. I had some cracks in the flap when I got the plane. He had just looked at them too long. When he reskined the flap he also installed the bulb that you mentioned. Besides protecting you forehead, it also stiffenes the trailing edge of your flap. Now I need to do the other one.
