
I showed it to a friend of mine who manufactures mounts for pretty much anything that's ever been hung on an aircraft, and he said "no problem".
As it turns out, only the mount has to be tested and certified, not the thing that attaches to it. He said it would be a simple approval, though when the feds saw it in use there would probably be some friction.
Unfortunately his shop rate would make the mount more expensive than the airplane.
