external loads, caving, and gravel bars

Did you fly somewhere cool, take photos, and feel like telling the tale to make us drool from the confines of our offices? Post them up!

external loads, caving, and gravel bars

I got a call from a customer 125 miles away, the day before I was going to be flying directly over their area going to the Three Forks fly-in, this worked out perfect as I was able to deliver the two 90 watt modules the next morning. That's Henry's Lake and the continental divide in the background, then you're in Montana.Image My customer was pleased with my prompt service, free no less!Image A local landmark in the Three Forks area, a crashed Avid Flyer that a guy buried , just to mess with people....., it didn't crash there point being.Image Lots of rivers in the area, I guess that's why they call it Three Forks.Image On the way home, ( within a few miles SE of the Kelly Canyon Ski Area for you locals,) I came upon this real interesting little canyon. Besides this one large cave it also had several natural rock arch formations, similar to another place in the Arbon Valley I "discovered". Maneuvering in the tight little canyon to get this pic took some doing. There is a place to land within a 1/4 mile, but it will be a tough hike to check the cave out, it'll wait until fall. I'm still looking BTW for a young cute geologist who wants to go flying and provide a running commentary on the fascinating landscape I often see, spread the word. Image

I haven't studied geology much, I'm sorta young, not too cute, but can I go exploring? I'll put on a skirt if I have to. :D I promise to add a lot of commentary.

If I can find a cute young geologist (female) who wants to go flying, I'm sure not going to tell you about her.
