Re: Fall Color Picture/Video Thread

I already posted this somewhere else, but it does have some great fall colors from our OH-WV-TN trip and should qualify for here??

aktahoe, you did land on that beach to check out the females, didn't you???? It sure looked like a distress signal waving for help..and you had the pictures to prove it.

Yes, due to the distress signal I needed to land. Found out the the one on the right (mom) was missing 3 teeth and the daughter was heavily intoxicated (well, they both were). I walked down to say hello and left is shock upon review. So I quickly packed up and headed out. Honestly, I felt real sorry for the two kids and thought about them all night wondering about how they will grow up. The little girl on the tailgate was cute. She is destined for hardship with those two as role models. The little boy had a black eye. Sad...

We flew around the Wasatch Mountains the other day looking at the fall colors. It was beautiful - and I found a good sized bull elk, too! He's pointed out in the video:

Not the greatest pic. A little late in the season. But here's some colors from the flat country.

Been giving enough rides lately, I forgot how well she climbs when alone. Took this last weekend. This weekend the color's even deeper, but most of my time off was full of really low clouds and rain.

Sure would like to see some photos of that. LOL

58Skylane,

Yeah, near Nashville. Now that I have my plane and my husband in the same state, I need to change my location to just TN. Although, I'm tempted to take the plane back up to my favorite IA for her annual - I wish I had plane, husband, job, and IA in the same state!
