Nice story, and a great plan, well conceived and executed. Congratulations on making (and documenting) some great memories…..I can imagine that teacher listening to the kids and wondering just how creative they be….
And, BTW, a 185 on EDO 3430s is a great horse, enjoy!

Excellent write up and adventures! I have had the dream of a float plane ever since I flew my Pacer on wheels back from AK through BC.....One of these days soon.

Cessna Skywagon -- accept no substitute!
Just buy a Skywagon!! AMIRITE??
I found this story super inspiring. Of course, we've all been watching Matt's trip reports over the years here but it's cool to hear the full story of his progression. Nice work, man.

Thanks a bunch guys. Thank you Zane for your help presenting my story.
I just got back from a beautiful trip last week, flying and hiking/hunting at Coldfish Lake in Spatsizi so there's pics and stories incoming. I'm just waiting on the rest of the pics from my buddy.

Great article and the photos are beautiful.
They are dangerous, too, seriously tempting me to spend an inordinate amount of my retirement fund to take my 170 up to BC and enjoy a summer there...

Matt
What a great story of family fun and accomplishment! You forgot to mention that you are a good story teller as well. Thanks for sharing and reminding us that thinking of the family first is very important when we are blessed with our aviation addiction.
