There's an unpaved strip near the Umpqua River about 8 miles south of Elkton Oregon...........it's not shown on the sectional chart, but it's on Goggle Earth. Has anyone been in there? What condition is the strip kept in? A friend of mine has a Skylane and was wondering about it. He does have other options, but if it's smooth and safe enough, he might like to go into there, if he could get approval from the owners. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

I believe that private strip is simply called "Umpqua River." It's something like 1300 ft long, and I know they've had Skywagon fly-ins there.
