Favorite Strip with a swimming hole in the NW

What is your favorite strip in the Northwest with a swimming hole right at the strip? If you don't want to share out of fear of it getting killed by social media send me a pm and I promise to keep it quiet

In about a week I hope to head out with my kids. Key features of our desired destination are seclusion and a swimming hole.

Indian Creek and Moose Creek are possibilities. Electric City could be a good one also.

When I was at Electric City last summer there were yellow jackets everywhere. They were worst along the bank by the campsite. Maybe not this year, but I wouldn't go near it expecting to have fun in the water if it was like that. Cavanaugh Bay, on the other hand, is the Taj Mahal of strips. Showers, a beach, free firewood, courtesy cars, a restaurant on the water a couple hundred yards from the camping. My kids love it. Sullivan Lake is also nice, and quieter.

I hadn’t thought too much about Hell’s Canyon because I figured if I was going there I’d take the boat. But the warm water and big sandy beaches is enticing. Thanks.

I’ve never been to Cavanaugh but I really don’t want to deal with people. It definitely looks like a great spot for when I’m feeling more tolerant. Sullivan looks to be pretty good with less people. If I head that way maybe I’ll try both places. Thanks.

Sullivan Lake. I'm not going to give any details in order to preserve the secret. Just go.

I'll see your Sullivan Lake, WA and raise you a nearby Priest Lake. Cavanaugh Bay, ID.

Also if you don't mind pavement Banks Lake, WA also excellent. Good camping facilities, nice courtesy car and beautiful lake.

Coxey Hole above Vines. You will not likely see another homo sapiens on a weekday if you get there before bow season.
