We have all struggled with those old rheostats. the Cessna dimmer package now costs about $1200. The MaxDim Duo replaces these for about 1/10 of that price. STC'd and PMA'd for most aircraft. 2 dimmers in one small package. We have put these into many airplanes now. We have not had one come back. The twilight hours are approaching fast here in Alaska now. Gotta get all the lights fixed. We have also installed some of their MaxPulse units for landing light - taxi light control.
