Finally got some doc martins for the plane!

This is news I'm sure almost none of you will care about, but I'm super excited and plan on telling everyone who may even have the slightest idea what I'm talking about! After talking about it forever and a day, I finally got some new big shoes for the plane. They are second hand, but brought brand new. In other words they have bounced around 3 owners over 2 years (all from the same family) but never actually been installed on a plane. They came up at way to good a price to refuse so unless I can get them back sooner (which may very well be likely!) they will be coming back with me from HSF and I'm pumped! Now to sort out some half decent brakes to match as mine are useless!

Um, sir, those aren't legal carry-ons and won't fit in the overhead bin!
