Finally Some Good Ski Flying & Pictures

Hello Backcountry Pilots,
Until a few days ago winter has been a non-event in North Idaho and Eastern Washington. We had a decent snow despite what the "limp-dick" Seattle types call "Snowmageddon". With about a foot of snow and temps below freezing I had a great day ski-flying finally. Off to PHX in the morning on business, should be a shock to the system.

Re: Finally Some Good Ski Flying & Pictures

That is good to see, I'm still "grounded", using the wheels for takeoff, not enough snow on my runway. At my elevation of 5400', we got NOTHING out of that last series of storms, Seattle got more, and then COMPLAINED about it! Lots of rain but too warm for snow. I got a job to fly into though near Jackson, hopefully this week, and I hear they got dumped on, here's hoping =D>
