The Savannah has fixed slots/slats as standard. Some folks have taken them off and used vgs. There is another Savannah that uses vgs as standard, but it is newer, and not so many exist.

I like the performance of my fixed slats, so I haven't thought too much about the vgs. From what I've read, there isn't really much of a change in performance. You can go here for more information:
