Looking for some input on Flight Planning software.
I currently am using Golden Eagle 5.0 by FlightPrep and overall am pretty pleased with it, but was wondering what the pay for play software out there added to the GE capabilities and is it worth the price.
I tried Voyager by Seattle Avionics but was disappointed by its performance.

Tom I love the FlightPrep chart case pro. You can load it on 3 computers legally. It does everything I want. Talk more at Stehekin. Cheers...Rob

Jeppesen has a really great program called Flitestar-but it is pricey depending on your subscription. I use it and swear by it. If you have ever used the AOPA flightplanner it is a "de-tuned" version of Jeppesen's as Jeppesen provided the program for AOPA usage just knocked out alot of functionality. You can also get Jeppview IFR e-charts that incorporates into the program for an added cost along with Flitedeck-which allows you to upload to cockpit if you have the right equipment. The entire package is referred to as Navsuite in case you look into it.

I and every corporate pilot I know (who doesn't have a dispatch department) use fltplan.com.
It does everything and is aircraft specific for burns and speeds and times. Weather, filling and even passenger briefing sheets are all there and all free.

I used to think the brain was the best organ in the human body. Then I realized who was telling me that.
I like Skyvector.com also. And I am a big fan of using ForeFlight on my iPad.
