Float parts, Step for boarding
Have problems with your aircraft? Maybe just questions about how best to tune or adjust something? Regs or maintenance? Need to know the best way to do something?
I installed the Full Lotus Floats on my RANS S-7 and will be doing the W/B this weekend. While having to replace all the break lines for the amphib gear, I realized my short legged stature that I could benefit from a step mounted to the float rigging. Basically a piece of angle that I see on most floatplanes for a foothold that attached to the float struts. It has closer to a 45 degree angle verses typical 90 angle material. Does anyone know where a person can a length of it?
Experimental, so doesn't have to be PMA. I'm thinking I got some from PK about 20 years ago that I had put on the Champ I had at the time.

I've bought that from Kenmore in Seattle. It wasn't all that expensive as i recall.
