Eric, thanks for the geography lesson, I was lucky to find Alaska and the Indian names are a big challenge to me. I had to look up McCarthy to see where it was, pretty spot. After our drive we will do a little flying around Anchorage and then hope to head into SE AK if the weather permits. Will see what happens.

Today I had "Ski" pull my plane out of the water and he is going to check it out and see what is up. I also got hold of Scott from Northern Lights Avionics and he is going to visit the plane and try and find my elusive gremlin, grrrrrrr.

We are now parked in the parking lot of the Crow Creek Mine in Girdwood. Walked thru the Lodge at Aleyska, very pretty, and managed to drop another $150 for dinner at the Double Musky. Very nice dinner so it was easier to swallow, heh, heh, get it! Not sure about this motorhome stuff, makes us feel like old farts, minus the jumpsuits. TBC
