Fly the old airmail route

I've been perusing NOAA's archive web site and found some pretty cool old aeronautical charts. They are charts of the old airway routes (see the giant concrete arrow thread. http://www.backcountrypilot.org/forum/g ... 55#p175653)

Here are a few samples of the charts they have...

Los Angeles CA to Las Vegas NV
http://historicalcharts.noaa.gov/histor ... 32-00-1931

Las Vegas NV to Milford UT
http://historicalcharts.noaa.gov/histor ... 33-11-1930

Milford UT to SLC UT
http://historicalcharts.noaa.gov/histor ... 34-00-1929

You can check at all the airway charts by going to http://historicalcharts.noaa.gov/histor ... attributes

Then put "airway map" in the title field, select Aeronautical Chart for type, and then select "Any State" Leave the rest blank and then click on search.

Thanks, been trying to figure out how to see a chart on that site for quite a while.
