Fly This PT6 Cessna 206

Who wants to Fly this Plane!

Image

Departing Mid Missouri and going to SoCal in a couple weeks and if any pilots want to fly this thing from the left seat, get a hold of me. I can give PT6 starting, operation training, Im still learning the G500txi,750/650txi panel.

Share the expenses, looks like 9 hours one way. Plenty of room for gear or your additional passenger. Departure date is weather dependent, Return date is maintenance dependent. Must be flexible on the return date, its ok if you (and be prepared to) find your own way home. If your a skydiver I could drop you at Eloy or Skydive Perris. Ill be busy while in SoCal at KWJF so you will have to entertain yourself. Going there we could make this a one day run or take time and stop in at some mountain backcountry strips while the plane is still on big tires. Email is best. [email protected] Im in a metal building all the time. Call Van 636-484-0084.

Re: Fly This PT6 Cessna 206

Flew down to Missouri last night and we took off this morning for SoCal. Just landed at AVK and will probably have to sit for a bit due to weather.

Big tires, 10,500 - 12,500 30 gph = 160 knots true, 35 gph = 170 kts true. Works out to the same NMPG.

Curious how that works out for range - I assume you have standard extended range tanks - 80 gallons. Is there some other mod for additional fuel? Beautiful airplane. Bet it gets up to 12500 in just a few minutes.

Maybe you should buy a PT6 instead of those new cylinders, Josh. Woo hoo! =D>

Re: Fly This PT6 Cessna 206

Was able to get 96 gals useable after installing the Jet A caps on the Mains and and 30 gals on the flint tip tanks. Was easy to do 3 hours and still have 50-60 min res on landing. Going to 17.5 on O2 it gave us 180 kts true at 32 gph.
