Flying at sunset and cooking blueberry cobbler

I spent most of the flight worried about whether I would be able to land due to the sun, but the deer ended up being the bigger hazard. Blueberry cobbler for breakfast was sweet and delicious. I don't know when humanity decided that it was ok to eat cake for breakfast (pancakes, waffles, coffee cake, donuts, etc), but on this day I fully supported it.

Sitting in my deer stand over looking 3" of snow, while you're making me hungry! :)

Good video!

Any good camp cooking / Dutch oven books you recommend?

Fun stuff. Nice to see you uploading new stuff.

If i was manning that dutch oven, those coals on the lid would be in my food on the first peek.

Sounds like someone needs to bring a cobbler to deer camp...

Thanks. I don't have a book to recommend. My strategy is to get hungry, browse around while hungry, and figure out something to cook!

Thanks Zane. Yeah, the coals on the lid is a super sketchy part with a dutch oven. But they are also what makes the whole thing work, so...
