Flying Car... guess who?

This is pretty damn innovative. My hat's off to the guy, his brain is still firing on all cylinders. Normally I would laugh off these performance claims, but His Highness has a strong history of getting pretty close, meeting, or doing better than the initial claims... several times running.

SOoooo......
When the weather turns shitty and you land to drive under the bad stuff on your way home........
Where do you put those wings? If I want to take-off on the other side of the front/wx/whatever you need to take those wings with you.
Can you let the air out and roll em up? :) Do they trailer behind the cabin like some do? Origami?
I'm sure Burt has it all figured out, but.....
Inquiring minds want to know....

Re: Flying Car... guess who?

I wonder if the wings and e-motors folded rearward like that will require the rear (main) wheels to be way far back to keep it from tipping back on its fins, which will mean the airplane will have trouble rotating for takeoff, which will mean either a very long takeoff run or big complex flaps, which will require more weight, which will require.......

Well, he's solved plenty of bigger problems before. Bless his heart, anyone who can use a free flight rubber model "dethermalizer" to solve a spacecraft problem is OK with me =D>
