Look down and there will be a desert place to land and camp, no fuel, no water, no food. Alternatively, go to Reno, then follow highway 395 south. Bridgeport CA; camp by the plane, eat at the Rhino Bar. Lee Vining; camp by the plane, eat at the Mobil station (this is right down the hill from Tolumne Meadows, climber chicks in summer). Bishop; camp by the plane or Buttermilks, eat at Whiskey Creek $$ or Mexican food place $. (if you're a boulderer, go to Eastside Sports and find somebody to take you to the Buttermilks) and Lone Pine; camp by the plane, eat at the Seasons or Alabama Hills Cafe, maybe find somebody to take you to Alabama Hills.
