Flying my Bearhawk Patrol

Bought this Bearhawk Patrol after selling my O-235 powered Champ. Flew the Champ to OSH from Florida this year and visited the Bearhawk booth. Found out there was a flying Patrol available for sale and made the deal. Couldn't be happier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejurTXh1Aos

The plane looks good, but the hanger is the bomb. the large roof area over the front is very nice addition. no rush to pull her in due to inclement weather.

Very nice!
I had to laugh when I checked out that roof extension over the front of the hangar (great idea), the snow load requirements up here make the span of the roof joists you can get away down there look flimsy, but I know it's all you need

Re: Flying my Bearhawk Patrol

I love that overhang. Never would have thought to add that if I was building my own hangar but there it was when I bought this place. Great place to work on or wash the plane, hang out with friends, get in or out of the plane in the rain or avoid the hot Florida sun. Got some speakers out there connected to the stereo and a friend recently loaned me a projector to hook up to a DVD player or computer and I'm gonna make a large front projection screen for outdoor movies, etc. Also have a big old tractor wheel for campfires on the patio. If I ever move and have to build a hangar you know I'm going to add that overhang.

Yeah man, the only thing missing is one of those guys who runs out with a red carpet to put by the airplane door, chock the wheels, and ask if you want fuel, haha! I really love that overhang and practically live under it here is Florida.
