Jr,

That is a good idea. This site is for fun and enjoyment of the flying community, so aside from a few ads to keep the electricity on, I am not going to make any money from the contributions. I'm not going to require a paid membership or ask for donations...ever. Any reader submissions now and in the future can be pulled by the author at any time.

The term "copyright" is loosely used in our society, and there are proper procedures for officially copywriting your works. However, I do believe that if you simply put "Copyright 2005 Zane J" on your work, then if you can prove date, that is all you need to enforce a copyright infringement case. Frankly, though, I do not forsee that kind of abuse occurring around here, as the kind of stories we tell are not exactly...Entertainment Tonight. Nobody loves our stories but other pilots, and we are a pretty honest group of people in my opinion.

I'll get started on an easy way for users to post their stories, non-forum style.

You're right, I've got a ton of stories and should have a ton more- we're leaving now for New Zealand. I have a C182 rented in Auckland (assuming I can pass the PPL written and checkride) on saturday. I'll post pics and stories when I get back.

Dave,

That is great! Keep a good trip log and email me when you get back. I can help you convert your story to the web your photos, outside the normal forum. We'll put it in the newly suggested "Flying Adventures" section.
