Nice looking arrangement and great idea. Accessible, out of the way, etc. I like the concept.
How do you have them fastened in? For example, if you crash and there's a very survivable 9 g deceleration from the front, will the survival knife (or ax or shovel) stay put? Might it depart the sheath (from the image it looks like there's no retainer on the hilt)? Could one or more of those edged tools become a lethal missile that might turn an otherwise bent metal event into something involving serious injuries or fatal? I recall a talk by John King a few years ago where he discussed a tool box in the back that nearly killed Martha. I think about that talk every time I stow anything in the baggage compartment beneath my cargo net.
