This may seem like a totally rediculous question.....but here it is.
There is a pasture directly in front of our house (making a good strip possibly).
Is it possible to taxi an aicraft like a kitfox with the wings folded a short distance like 1/4 mile.
I know you can trailer them or even tow them short distances wings folded but I was unsure about the taxiing part. I could land and taxi back to my house down the fairly narrow treed laneway.
This would be slick then the shop could conveniently be the hanger as well......

I am not familiar with the innards of aircraft, but what happens to any wiring or fuel lines in the wings-fusealge connections upon folding? You might consider using a tow vehicle, even an atv would probably tow it.

A Kitfox can not be taxied with the wings folded. The flaperons fold up about two or three inches from the vertical fin and rudder so you can't turn. Here's a link to one guys solution. A tail wheel dolly attached to his 4 wheel motorcycle to tow his kitfox to and from his grass strip.

The wireing, fuel lines and pitot tubing (plastic) have a loop designed at the rear spar so they stayy connected when the wings fold.

you can taxi with this and have wings folded and maybe do a little offroading before you take off.
