If Chrome, try an Incognito window (Ctl+Shift+N) and see if you can get in. This launches a window completely free of cached credentials, cookies, etc. I'm betting it lets you in. If it does, then you haven't cleared enough data from your "normal" browser.

Excellent troubleshooting tip. Thanks.

Argh. This may be the end of life for my mini tablet. I didn't find Chrome in the apps, found Samsung Apps, clicked on it. Carelessly clicked okay to terms and was presented with apps to buy. Closed window and noticed the download symbol active - was getting a huge "Samsung push", powered off immediately. Afraid to power back up at this point. This has an Android system of a few fancy sweet names earlier in the alphabet than current. When I tried to update a few months ago, I got a set of terms and conditions presented that I backed out of. For what it's worth, I've never opened up an account with the Google store to get apps. Perhaps I need to be content with a string and tin cans.

Off to play with the dog, Rex. Tyrannosaurus Rex that is. He's got a reputation for being a bit nasty but much easier to tame than computers it seems.

If you're using a Samsung (Android) tablet, then Chrome is your browser (both Google products).

You're really doing yourself a disservice by not allowing your device to update itself, in my opinion. Software gets fixed regularly, and features are added and improved upon. It's a good thing, honest! :)

Anyway, your browser should have an Incognito mode. Click the "dot dot dot" icon all the way to the right of the address bar, and then select "New Incognito Tab". Assuming you become brave enough to turn your tablet back on.

Re: For those with redirect errors...clear cookies

My 4 year old Toshiba laptop was having some issues a month or so ago, and I took it to a computer dude and he went through it. It acted up a week or so later, so he went through it some more. Then this cookie thing. Then some wifi issues. According to the wifi tech support guy, the internal wifi gizmo went belly-up,,,, just when I was gonna do my taxes on it using TurboTax. Enough is enough. I went out and bought a new HP laptop-- $282 out the door at Best Buy. Faster, and everything works.

=D> Thank you Zane and Chris for your help and patience with the dinosaur. I found the incognito tab and can now visit the sight on the mini tab. Time will tell what happens with it otherwise, so far so good.
