Foreflight equivalent for Android

Our mechanic who just added a PPL to his pocket is asking me if there is any such animal for his Galaxy phone or tablet.
Anything out there I can send on to him? I did search and found Naviator and anywhere map, any others?

Re: Foreflight equivalent for Android

I just picked up a Nexus 7 - haven't installed an aviation app yet, but have done some searching. The two that get highest marks are Naviator and Garmin Pilot.

Check out http://www.avilution.com. I've been using this app for about a year now, it's been regularly updated and has working well for me.

Re: Foreflight equivalent for Android

There's some info and comments on a thread I started on the EAA Forums. the one's previously listed seem to be the better ones. I have downloaded AOPA's app also but haven't really had a chance to use it yet. Have heard good things about the Garmin app.
