WOW! Thanks Mike! That's definitely a way to try it out on the cheap (hey, aren't all pilots cheap?)

I'm doing some research for my thesis and would love some feedback from experienced pilots about :
1. What can foreflight or garmin do to attract personal pilots who fly as individuals vs. professional pilots who fly for corporate or charter flight departments?
2. How useful is Foreflights 3D platform and should Garmin introduce the same option?
All your help and responses are much appreciated

1) I already use ForeFlight, but I am becoming turned off by all the features that are offered only if you subscRibe to the highest-cost version. Yes, the performance edition that has absolutely no performance data for any airplane that I fly. Offer those features la la cartel and let me (and the marketplace decide what we want.
2) Most of us have no idea... (See answer #1)
