Them big external fuel tanks... sure do slow down a air o plane....
Guess it's worth it tho.... if'n ya gotta land all them places just to see if
anybody can here ya... on that there HF rig.
Like that twotter on the sand too... betcha could sleep in that thing all night long...till the weasels come...

Nice scenery.

Fuel stop at Stornoway: $13++ /gal. http://www.thehangar.co.uk/fuel/fuel.shtml What are we whining about?? It would take $1134 and change to fill the Maule's dry tanks there. That would temper my enthusiasm.

Glad I'm not on my way thru Riyadh though: around $28/gal there!!! I'm not even going to calculate the cost of a fillup.

yeah, that's what happens when they get rich enough to sell their Navajo's and buy 727's. If you want avgas you have to call a month ahead and get it trucked from Dubai.
